For my design of the Humane Society Calendar I attempted to maintain a design layout while utilizing different design elements to enhance the calendar. My main layout consisted of a photograph in the upper right hand corner that acted as a title place above the calendar itself. I made use of the design element proximity by writing the month across each photo so that the audience would associate the animal with the month. The repetition of the page layout keep consistency within the design but the incorporation of different fonts and borders adds contrast. In the month of October I was able to add different borders and fonts to the calendar itself but in November and December the program locked the calendar so I was unable to change those. In each of the fun facts ads I incorporated different designs to differentiate from the other months and made sure to include unique facts. I think my design will appeal to audiences because it incorporates different animals and different designs so each month is not the same.
